I must confess in the shadow of so much going on that I find myself wondering about the enormity of the recent events and how, in the face of evil, the entire left has gaslighted itself into a brand new clown world.
I’m astonished how any conscious mind can participate in a march proudly supporting Hamas, carrying Nazi-inspired signs such as, “Gas the Jews,” and the suggestively genocidal, “From the river to the sea,” but then who turn around and unctuously insist that Substack needs moderation because …Nazis.
The sheer volume of gaslighting they’ve manufactured has now engulfed them; it has consumed and devoured them to the extent that by their own words they have become the spiritual children of Adolf Hitler.
When the woke left complains of Nazi’s, they’re not referring to the 1945 genocidal goose-steppers from hell but those who don’t share their Marxist-inspired world view of oppressor -vs.- oppressed. Nazi is a label used to describe anyone who may have valid concerns or reservations concerning their indoctrination programs of ESP, AA, DEI and the new gender ideologies and sexual deviances being forced upon school children.
When the Left screams, “Nazi!” they’re projecting. When the Left rages and applies their go-to labels of Nazi, racist, white-supremacist, transphobe, or homophobe et al, they’re not looking for meaningful dialogue, they’re demanding the same Nazi party fascist enforcement of silence and censorship by whatever means necessary, up to and including your own violent death. Similar to the rise of Joseph Goebbels in 1933, the official leftist propaganda is stridently antisemitic. This became clearly evident after watching the recent Congressional video concerning the permissive campus atmosphere for widespread antisemitism. When questioned, three Ivy-League presidents sang the same doctrine in unison – “it all depends on the context,” exposing a curtain of well-rehearsed academic moral obscuration around what is otherwise obvious antisemitic hate speech to everyone else.
Whether you love or despise the people of Israel, the new academic double-standard has been made crystal clear for all to see. If you hate Israel or you hate Jews, it’s not considered ‘hate speech’ until you actually kill one, and if you do, they’ll march in your support. The open calls on campuses for the slaughter and genocide of Jews aren’t considered instigating or encouraging anyone to commit violence. At. All. However, if you dare to question any part of far-left doctrine or woke orthodoxy, you’re quickly branded a violent Nazi encouraging the death of innocents and need to be immediately silenced and censored.
Some years back around 2004, I noted that there was an increasingly pervasive reflex to charge anyone questioning leftist political policy with ‘racism’. By Obama’s second term election in 2012, the political left began to view Obama’s Presidency as the de facto new empire; a global elitist mandate for enforced leftism. As a side note, I believe this is why, in part, the entire left slid into a state of shock and disbelief when their next dear leader, Hillary Rodham Clinton, lost the election to President Trump. The turnips at Newsweek were so convinced Clinton would win, that they’d pre-printed the scheduled November 2016 edition with Hillary’s glowing face under the banner, “Madam President.”
By 2014, what I was observing was an outright refusal to listen to anyone or anything that suggested caution or moderation with the new political priorities reflecting a strong bent for socialism. Over the next few years, social media soon found any conservative voices shouted down, shadow-banned, and kicked off the predominantly left-leaning platforms – even those cautionary voices on the left were vilified and mobbed. There would be no moderation or debate, there would be no discussion, there would be no room for dissent. Some former colleagues of mine seized the left-leaning momentum to leap out of their closets and bloviate the basic tenets of Critical Race Theory – labelling anyone they’d ever worked with as outright racists, white supremacists, or being either complicitly or implicitly supportive of racism. Their sudden and belligerent judgements against anyone outside of their protected identity group signaled, at least to this writer, the terminus of meaningful public discourse and the beginning of a new socially engineered apartheid.
When we allow and assist one segment to dominate and rule public discourse even on private platforms, we commit cultural suicide. It was clear back then as it is now that the woke left are determined to jam their stubby fingers into their ears and rush blindly forward, tearing down public reminders of western civilization and anyone who stands in their way. (Reticent of Acts chapter 7.)
The good news here is that there are still a lot more people who care about our country, and indeed for the peaceful state of people over the world. It bothers me as I’m sure it disturbs others seeing what has happened to our educational institutions with the stunning level of putrefaction that cultural Marxism has wrought. Harvard, MIT and perhaps all of the Ivy League schools have now become incubators and breeding grounds of toxic groupthink, intellectual dishonesty, widespread antisemitism, and the increasingly divisive new ideologies.
As a Christian, I know that we won’t see true justice and peace until Christ returns, so it really should not be a surprise to any of you that these destructive influences are growing in dominance. I also know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) Which is a very concise way of telling us that God who is not constrained by the physical laws and influences of our universe, has already provided for our good despite the intended evil. A remarkable example of this is in the biblical story of Joseph, and it’s worth your time reviewing to see, despite his circumstances, how Joseph remained obedient to God and God saw him through to a place where he was able to participate in God’s bigger plan to save both the people of Egypt and the people of Israel.
What Joseph’s brothers intended for evil, God meant for good.
In our present day, we need to remember that God has not changed, and God has not forgotten you, neither is God blind to the ongoing spiritual war. Though current events and the powerful forces of this present age seek to enslave and destroy, God’s effectual work – even in the lives of barely obedient Christians – will be revealed to be sovereign, merciful, tender, kind and designed for our good.
You don’t need to be an ordained church leader to speak the truth about what you’re observing. You are called to be salt and light. Light does not work from under a basket. Salt does not have a preserving influence when it is withheld; we are called to be salt and light – to be involved. Jesus did not hide behind locked doors, instead He confronted the rulers of that time and didn’t mince His words. When we confront those who seek to rule over us, we are admonished to speak the truth in love; to be Christ-like in our approach. Seeking to heal and not harm, to re-join that which has been divided, to work for reconciliation in the presence of irreconcilable differences. This requires above all, prayer for the Holy Spirit to work within our own hearts first – to put us in a right relationship with God before we attempt splinter removal operations while we ignore the 2x4 in our own eye.
Much of the world hates Jews for very much the same reason it hates God, and Jesus said the world will hate us because it also hated Him. Just know that there is nothing you can do or say that will change this fact, and the moment you go public with your Christian witness or testimony, you will sooner or later be attacked. The more effective your testimony or witness, the more strident the attacks will become. Realize that these are battles coming from what Ephesians 6:12 aptly describes as the principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this age – against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
In other words, it’s a spiritual battle.
There is real evil seeking to do great harm, and the unfortunate state we find ourselves in is one of a biblically illiterate population whose near total ignorance and denial of anything spiritual is giving rise to the emergence of the most ungodly, spiritually dead generation since before the great flood.
That sense of dread and foreboding many on Substack and Xitter have been mentioning of late? I believe it’s a spiritual sense of what’s currently happening in those realms.

Draw close to your family this Christmas, savor the time with people you love or know, make new friends, reconnect with God.
Be prepared for a war in 2024.
I don't think war is the answer. Death is the winner in any war. Jesus preaches love and compassion. There is too much violent rhetoric in the world - I would rather question why we are being led in this direction by the media at large, and choose the opposite. I would rather make peace. This is the way I always have been, and always will be.
"When the Left screams, “Nazi!” they’re projecting."
Most of what passes for "history" is, in fact, projection. The word, "Nazi," itself was used as a derogatory term from the start. The Communist variety of fascist socialism was used it against the National Socialist movement in Germany who apparently never used the label to describe themsleves.
